EEVEs' Leather Balm

EEVEs' Leather Balm

EEVEs’ Leather Balm is formulated for DaVarg leather from natural ingredients, with a recipe that was originally developed for a moisturizing cream. This balm restores the natural oils, and renders the leather soft and supple. We have not found anything close that could condition and rejuvenate leather and highly recommend it for conditioning DaVarg articles.

The EEVEs' Leather Balm:

-does not contain harsh chemical,  petroleum, mineral oil ingredients.

-penetrates deep, without leaving a residue or waxy coating on the leather surface.

-maintains a deep natural tone, enhancing the pull up effect on leather.

    -make the leather moisture resistant.

-does not  darken the leather excessively, making it perfect for using on lighter shades and natural tone leather.

-has a gentle herbal fragrance to enhance genuine leather scent.

Periodic application of Leather Balm helps to protect the DaVarg leather, and enables it to age evenly. Some might notice that the EEVEs’ Leather Balm can be used as a general moisturizing balm- it is because the unique oils and waxes in Leather Balm are derived from natural ingredients such as Mink Oil, Coconut Oil, Lanolin Wax and Bees Wax. These are the same ingredients that could be found in cosmetic products such as hand creams, lip balms and moisturizing lotions. This combination makes the balm a perfect match for genuine vegetable tanned leather. Our thinking is that if the Balm is good enough for human skin, it must be good enough for DaVarg Leather.

While EEVEs’ Leather Balm may be applied on any genuine leather article, it should not be used on any artificial leather or suede or Napa leather. The leather butter can darken the leather to some extent. In genuine leather, this darkening is due to the absorption of oils into the grain. In most cases, the darkening is temporary and the leather will restore its original tint once the balm is fully absorbed over time. However, on artificial and suede leathers, this can give unpredictable results. It is always preferable to test the Balm over inconspicuous areas prior to full application.
